Anastasia is currently in the process of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and has over five years of experience working in clinical settings where she supported individuals of all ages with depression, anxiety, addiction, and other mental health concerns.
Anastasia has a particular interest working with children and adolescents as her research has focused on communication surrounding emotional issues between parents and their children. She has obtained an undergraduate degree in Behavioural Psychology.
Anastasia utilizes modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to help her clients with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, emotion regulation and building emotional resilience. With the goal of empowering her clients, she aims to help them become experts in their own lives through fostering an environment where self-discovery and growth flourish. Using empathy, active listening and evidence-based techniques, Anastasia provides a safe space for her clients to explore their emotions and navigate their unique paths to recovery and self-improvement.
Beyond her professional life, Anastasia enjoys travel, down-hill skiing, attending concerts, and spending time with her cat and loved ones.
