Expanded And Additional Mental Health Services On The Way
In 2024, there will be expanded and additional mental health services offered and we are excited to tell you what to expect! If you are in the Greater Toronto Area and looking for an in person appointment, you will really like this!
Here are the planned changes for 2024:
- Expand to support adults as well. Adult mental health is just as important youth mental health, and children benefit when their parents are healthy.
- Additional services. We will be recruiting therapists with a diverse skillset to provide more options to you. Play Therapy, EMDR, and other approaches are planned.
- Streamlined Intake Process. You will be able to book your consultation directly from the website at at time that fits your needs.
- Modern Website. It will be revised to help you find what you need faster.
Some History
Initial Offering Of Mental Health Services
When I left the corporate technology sales industry and started my then private practice in March of 2019, my ultimate goal was to create a clinic. I wanted to offer effective mental health services for young people. That remains my core focus. To so this, I went back to school in 2017 to earn my MA in Counselling Psychology. 2018 saw my practicum experience and graduation!
Room 1
This initial space was about 10 feet by 11 feet. It was enough for a start and it was also great to move to a large room!

This room was much better – about 11 feet by 22 feet in size!
Our Current Home
Fast forward to 2022. I relocated to the current location (400 Bradwick Drive, Suite B1 in Vaughan) early in the year.

My initial space consisted of the therapy room that I currently use as well as the kitchen area as one large room. This is what it looked like as the former lunch room that it was!

A fresh coat of paint and some furniture makes quite a difference!
2023 – More Mental Health Space Created
2023 saw the biggest and best change: Expansion! I added five treatment rooms and brought on four students. They have been amazing and Rebecca, who started in May 2023, is now my first Independent Contractor. This allowed us to offer more mental health service and support than I could as an individual.
Renovation Highlights
Ever wonder what takes place during a renovation? Here are some pictures from beginning to end. What started as an empty 1950 square foot room had walls added. Then doors (one did not survive!) and finally paint. In the end, a clinic was born!
