How I can help
Taking the first step towards couple therapy can be stressful and many couples seek therapy to address a variety of issues such as love, understanding, trust and communication skills, and setting boundaries. Couples therapy can be a great tool to help individuals address issues such as a lack of connection, love, understanding, trust, or communication skills.
Together, we will set goals, recognise your strengths and values as an individual and as a couple, draw attention to negative habits, attitudes, and interactional patterns, and provide you with the support you need to create the kinds of relationship you want by establishing mutually beneficial and constructive boundaries in your relationships.
Experience
Linda holds a dual registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Linda’s been in the field since 2007 and throughout her career she combined experience working in social and community services, hospitals, correctional facilities, the justice system, and with a diverse population encountering various challenges, life transitions, relationships, loss, homelessness, women’s health issues, mental health, and addiction.
Linda has an extensive educational history which includes a Master of Social Work (MSW), a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Bachelor of Arts Honours in Sociology (B.A. Hons), and a Diploma in Social Service Work (S.S.W), which future accentuates her qualifications and commitment to the field.
