Parenting in 2019 is very different than in 1980, 1990, 2000, or even 2010. Kids are becoming addicted to social media, schools are sending work home online and diagnoses like ADHD, Autism, and others are on the rise. When teens are graduating high school, their options for post-secondary education are increasingly competitive and expensive.
Many parents find that working with an objective third party can help them develop strategies that can lower the stress of their entire family. When one child is struggling it often impacts everybody, and this is where I can help. Working with parents, I can help find ways to limit time playing video games and to create effective homework schedules. When parents are emotionally overwhelmed, I can help with coping strategies so that the mental health of parents does not get worse. As the leaders of the family, it is crucially important for parents to be able to parent effectively and I am here to help.
