Rebecca is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned in 2017, and has supplemented her education with various training and certificate courses, including the Adverse Childhood Experiences & Resilience Training Certificate (ACEs).
Bringing over 8 years of experience working with children and teens in diverse settings, such as licensed childcare centers, schools, and multidisciplinary clinics, Rebecca has honed her skills and knowledge to provide effective support for individuals facing anxiety, depression, anger, bullying, and stress.
Rebecca practices a range of therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Adlerian Therapy. Recognizing that each individual’s needs and experiences are unique, she ensures that the primary interventions and therapeutic approaches are tailored accordingly.
In sessions with Rebecca, you can expect a safe and supportive space where you feel valued and encouraged to share your experiences. She understands that starting therapy can be challenging, but also deeply rewarding, and she is committed to helping you navigate your journey of self-growth and discovery.
Through collaborative work, Rebecca can assist you in crafting self-care plans that integrate seamlessly into your daily routines, and healthier coping strategies that enhance self-awareness and foster self-compassion during difficult times.
When she’s not counseling, Rebecca enjoys exploring diverse cultures, practicing yoga, immersing herself in nature through camping and fishing trips, and cuddling with her two adorable cats.
Rebecca currently offers her counseling services at reduced rates. If you’re interested in beginning your journey with Rebecca, please feel free to contact us to inquire about her services.
